On Saturday 16 November I attended a guitar clinic by Carl Verheyen, tourguitarist for Supertramp (amongst others) and noted session player. Even though I was a bit lost when he talked scales and pentatonics, I was able to pick up some interesting information about voicings and chord shapes. Carl is a very friendly person who owns 75+ guitars and 50+ amps, so obviously there is something wrong with him, but it cannot be his guitar playing, as he was very impressive indeed. The guitar he’s holding on the picture is the same he played at the guitar clinic. How about that for a man who owns so many guitars? Thank you Mark from Max Guitars for the invitation!
